Oakley Hall, Basingstoke
New Year, new opportunities, but how will your business fare in 2012? North Hampshire Enterprise are delighted to welcome Martyn Pellew, newly appointed president of the British Chambers of Commerce to their first event of 2012. Martyn will share his views on the local and national economy, the barriers to growth faced by businesses and how the BCC are acting to meet the needs of businesses and improve the profitability of their members.
Mr Pellew brings with him a wealth of experience. He started his career in engineering, later working in the chemicals and leisure sectors in both the UK and the continent. His previous industrial and private sector experience includes working as a director for Unipart in rail and automotive logistics, for NFC and Exel (now DHL) in logistics and Ladbroke/Hilton hotels as sales and marketing then development director. He also worked both in UK and Germany in engineering (Morgan Crucible), construction (Wimpey), office equipment and chemicals/paints sectors (Hoechst). Martyn also holds a portfolio of non-executive roles with a variety of public and private sector businesses.
They welcome you to join them over a delicious full English breakfast in the grand setting of Oakley Hall. Bookings for this event are complimentary, so please RSVP as soon as you can to lisa.childs@northhampshireenterprise.co.uk.
