What We Do - Business Engagement

Business Solent brings together the public and private sectors as well as education and voluntary organisations.

Businesses that are located or trade within the Solent region can become a Solent Champion or Associate.

The Solent Champion programme is for larger organisations and is a benefit and value package that enables local businesses to engage with their city, town or with the Solent region.

The Associate programme is targeted towards the smaller organisations that want to get involved but do not have the same resource as a Solent Champion.

Our approach of engagement through listening, information sharing and acting enables collaborative working - creating a greater understanding and a united approach across the region.

We provide the link to engage with others across the region through Action Groups and Alliances and a busy events calendar that’s bursting with opportunities.

The Annual Conference has become one of the biggest business events across the South with topical issues and well known keynote speakers such as Rt. Hon Michael Portillo, Lord Digby Jones and Lord Norman Lamont guaranteeing a capacity audience.
